For starters, I am originally from Christiansburg, Virginia, and now live in St. Louis, Missouri. I moved to St. Louis in 2008, after living in Richmond, Virginia for over 12 years. What fun it is to explore a new state -- and surrounding states! It's also great to have friends and family fly in for a visit and tour all the new sites. On to the music: my interest in playing piano began around the age of 12. I started listening to the piano differently from most other instruments. When I was about 14, I started studying piano under the direction of Kitty Harmon. Kitty was like an angel coming into my life. She started teaching me to read music, and was open to, and encouraged, improvisation. Sometimes I think Kitty had so much fun in our lessons that she felt guilty taking my parents' money! After my time with Kitty, I went on to play for churches and many other events. I was able to attend Stamps-Baxter School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee in 1992 and 1993. What a great experience that was! Piano has always been a major passion of mine. I like a variety of styles -- southern gospel, black gospel, show tunes, ragtime, country, pop, etc. I love any gathering where there's a piano in the room, and everyone assembles around for music fun! I love hearing from all people and making new friends -- e-mail me! Check out my schedule, too. If you have a need to hire a piano player, then I'm your man! Thanks for clicking by! All
